This company does not answer emails (yes the one that is provided in their response to other reviews) web messages, phone calls or voicemails from current customers with panels under warranty. They never answer the phone and the voice mailbox has been full for at least six months. Our solar panels have been non-functioning for over a year.

What’s up? I’ve emailed and tried calling (dead phone) for almost a year now and get no response. I now have three malfunctioning panels. They did replace one panel almost two years ago, but I haven’t been able to make contact since my latest issue. Not what I’d call top-flight service. They’re good when they want to be, but things have dropped off a cliff of late. ————- Nice job of blowing smoke re: an outstanding debt. I received no quote saying I’d owe money for warrantied work, and no bill (for over a year) for that warrantied work. You have my email; why do you need me to contact you again (via an email that Microsoft Outlook is “undeliverable”)? I look forward to you initiating a resolution.

Please avoid this company at all cost. I purchased a system from them in 2015. I needed the system removed due to Hurricane Ida damage to my roof. Joule stored my system until the roof was done. When the system was picked back up, they gave me a smaller, weaker system and broke 10 panels that could not be used. Joule gave me the system of another customer with my last name. I had to pay an extra $5000 to buy new replacement panels and a new converter to run a subpar system on my house. I spoke to the owner who acknowledged the multiple mistakes and stated he would "make things right". Of course, he stopped responding to calls and did nothing to remedy the situation. I highly recommend using Solar Alternatives Inc. This company went above and beyond to help me with this mess and restore the system.

I used Joule for my solar panels in 2013. They severely overestimated the energy production. They did refund some amount of money to me for the first three or four years, but then they stopped returning my calls - and believe me, I called a lot. I was even told that they'd never provided such a guarantee, even though I have a contract stating that! At this point I'm just done with it and I've written off the loss, but I would recommend using any company but this one.

Joule installed solar panels on my roof in 2015. However, now that I need to patch a leak in the roof, Joule won't answer calls or emails to move the panels that are in the way. As per my contract, if anyone but Joule moves the panels, my warranty is voided. Once Joule gets its money, it no longer cares about its customers. The state attorney general's office has advised me to get an attorney to get this company to honor their contract with me. I see from other reviews of this company that my experience is not unique. Anyone interested in starting a class action lawsuit against this company? Response to Joule reply below: That's the same email address I used when I contacted Joule about this problem on January 10th, 2023. I have yet to receive a response to that email, or to the letter I sent to Joule via registered mail in February. As well, no one answers the phone at number listed for Joule on the Louisiana State Board of Contractor's website. This number is identical to the one listed on your own website. I even tried visiting your warehouses in person at your Julia Street address in New Orleans. I could see that the company was in business, but no one answered the door. I've read the other threads here: it's apparent that Joule has deliberately made itself uncontactable so as to ignore their contractual obligations to current residential customers.
