The amount of money you save depends on factors like your energy consumption, the size of your solar system, and available tax credits. TFS provides a free customized payback schedule to estimate your savings.
TFS offers several financing options, including low-interest solar loans and upfront purchase options. They also partner with SERI to provide loans and grants to low-income households.
Battery storage allows you to store excess solar energy for use during outages or times when the sun isn't shining. It provides backup power, maximizes your savings, and qualifies for tax credits.
Due to high demand, TFS currently has limited capacity to offer battery installations on homes with solar not installed by TFS. They may be able to add storage if it is done in conjunction with the installation of additional solar panels.
The installation process typically involves three steps: signing up (free site visit and contract review), designing a custom solar energy system, and installation by the in-house team, followed by necessary inspections. The total time can vary depending on the complexity of the project.
