Anyone that doesn't like WGE clearly hasn't deal with South Hadley's electric company (who takes a $600 hold when you open an account). My electric bill with WGE has always been reasonable, and their text messages regarding billing is very helpful. Only 4 stars because no one really wants to pay for an electric bill.
We had the street lights out on our street for months, it wasn't a big deal when the days were longer, now when it is dark in the morning, I am concerned about hitting a walker backing out of my driveway. I called and asked that the light bulbs were replaced, but I was told that they didn't have light bulbs in stock and the rep had no idea when they would have them... offering to transfer me to someone else, she just hung up on me... Great service, what can I say...
The increases in electricity bill's are outrageous!
Power is so unreliable. Constant outages , automated system cannot locate my account with my phone number, voicemail message is from years ago with COVID protocol, not receiving text messages even though I’m signed up for text messages, etc.
